•1996年,HWD的创始人王海东先生应堪培拉技术学院(CIT)邀请负责建立和发展堪培拉的中医课程,并于1997年2月建立了CIT的中医短期证书课程。
• 1998年,HWD的另一位创始人,王海东先生的弟弟王海松医生受CIT邀请,进一步协助发展中医课程,并于1999年建立了政府认可的高级文凭课程,之后王海松医生作为CIT课程的主要负责人教授近10年。
• 2000年9月,海东和海松兄弟二人决定,他们要努力帮助社区民众使用中医以提升健康服务,二人正式注册了澳洲健康之路发展有限公司(HEALTH WAY DEVELOPMENTS PTY LTD)。
• 为了让更多民众能够比较全貌地了解中医药,HWD协同澳大利亚国家录制集团(NRS)和中国辽宁电视台(LNTV),于2000年10月联合拍摄了中医药英文电视片,并推广到世界许多国家和地区。
• HWD于2000年11月注册了澳洲首都中医药学院,为澳大利亚和中国之间中医学习和实践发挥更加紧密的桥梁纽带作用。
• 之后,HWD首都中医药健康中心正式注册,第一家诊所在堪培拉南区WODEN于2001年4月9日向公众开放。
• 2002年,王海东医生当选为ACT中医和针灸学会(SCMA-ACT)会长。
• 2002年2月,HWD协助中国辽宁电视台卫视信号在澳大利亚成功落地。
• 2004年8月,HWD联合澳大利亚国立大学、堪培拉大学、堪培拉技术学院和辽宁、云南、南京中医药大学六所高校共同举办了首届 “堪培拉国际中医药高峰论坛”。
• 2005年3月28日,澳大利亚首都直辖区前任首席部长乔恩·斯坦霍普(Jon Stanhope)为HWD北区(BELCONNEN)门诊开业剪彩。
• 2005年6月,HWD受邀为堪培拉五星级酒店(HAYTT凯悦酒店)的健身中心提供健康服务。
• 王海东博士于2005年12月被任命为澳大利亚国家中医药中心的首席执行官,并于2006年6月,组织了高级代表团访问中国,并在北京全国政协礼堂组织了盛大的交流活动。
• 2007年,HWD在澳大利亚赞助出版了《中医英语学术期刊》。
• 2008年,HWD在中国设立了子公司,以加强中澳之间的国际交流与合作。
• 2008年10月,王海东博士出任“中药饮片质量发展国际大会”秘书长。
• 2009年,HWD注册了“带来健康"(BRING HEALTH)品牌商标,开始进军中医药大健康领域。
• 2010年2月,HWD首都中心区门诊对外开放。
• 2010年8月,HWD与世界中医药学会联合会(简称“世界中联”)合作举办了“首届中青年中医专家论坛”。
• 2011年11月,王海松医生当选为澳大利亚中医局(CMBA)的首批委员。
• 2012年,HWD成为第一个在西医超级诊所下注册的中医团队。作为值得信赖的联盟健康合作伙伴,HWD 为新南威尔士州昆比扬(QUEANBEYAN)的超级诊所的患者提供针灸服务。
• 2008-2016年期间,公司创办人王海东博士先后在江阴天江药业有限公司,南京海昌中药集团和马应龙药业集团担任企业高管。
• 2016年1月,王海东博士主编的《中医药国际化之路》一书,由长江出版传媒正式出版发行。
• 王海东博士于2016年6月创办了世界中联中医药国际化品牌研究专业委员会并出任会长,并于同年入选世界中联主席团执委。
• 2018年,HWD首都中心区门诊主诊医师田冰医生当选为澳大利亚中医局(CMBA)成员。
• 2019年,HWD创办了“澳中国际康养联盟”,旨在推动中医药促进老年人健康和提高生活质量。
• 2020年,疫情期间,HWD组建”普济康道大健康防疫抗疫群“,组织中医与健康公益系列讲座,并开办了“喜马拉雅” 《王博士说中医》健康语音节目。
• 2020年11月28日,集团董事长王海东博士在世界中联中医药国际化品牌研究专业委员会换届会议上再次当选会长
· The founder of HWD, Dr Haidong Wang was invited by CIT to establish TCM course in Canberra in 1996.
· TCM short term certificate course was established in 1997.
· The other founder of HWD, Dr Haisong Wang, Haidong’s younger brother was invited by CIT to establish TCM course in Canberra in 1998.
· The advanced TCM course was developed in 1999.
· The government accreted diploma course was established in 1999 by CIT. Dr Haisong Wang was one of the key persons to develop the content with CIT for the course - Eastern Massage Advanced Diploma which was then taught for 10 years.
· In September of 2000 Drs Haidong and Haisong decided that they would like to work to help the community using Traditional Chinese Medicine to holistically improve healthcare. As a result Health Way Developments Pty Ltd was registered.
· Chinese Medicine Documentary Film was shot by HWD, Australia National Recording Studio Group (NRS) and China Liaoning TV Station (LNTV) in October 2000 and published to the world.
· Capital College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was registered in November 2000 and facilitated the study and practice between Australia and China.
· The Capital Health Centre of Traditional Chinese Medicine was registered and the first clinic was open to the public on 9 April 2001.
· Dr Haidong Wang was elected to be president of ACT Society of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Inc. (SCMA-ACT) 2002.
· Introduced Chinese TV to TransACT- Chinese Liaoning TV Signal was launched in Australia facilitated by HWD in February 2002.
· The Canberra International Chinese Medicine Forum was organised by HWD joint with ANU, UC, CIT as well as Liaoning, Yunnan, Nanjing TCM Universities in August 2004.
· HWD Belconnen Clinic was opened by the former ACT Chief Minister, Jon Stanhope on 28 March 2005.
· HWD was invited to provide health service for the Fitness Centre at Hyatt Hotel, a Five-star hotel in Canberra in June 2005.
· Dr Haidong Wang was appointed the Chief Executive of the Australian National Chinese Medicine Centre in December 2005.
· A senior delegation of Health care and education was organized to visit China by HWD and the National Centre of Chinese Medicine in June 2006.
· Chinese Medicine English Academic Journal was published in Australia facilitated by HWD in 2007.
· Health Way Group was registered and its Chinese office was open in 2008 to enhance the connection in education, natural healthcare and business cooperation internationally.
· Chinese Herbal Medicine Quality Forum was organized in October 2008 and Dr Haidong Wang was appointed the General Secretary of the Conference.
· The Brand “Bring Health” was registered in 2009 to focus on well-being and community health awareness fields.
· HWD Capital Chinese Medicine Civic Clinic was open in February 2010
· The First Young Chinese Medicine Specialist Forum was held in Canberra supported by HWD in August 2010.
· Dr Haisong Wang was elected to be one of the first founding board members of the Chinese Medicine Board Australia (CMBA) in November 2011.
· In 2012 HWD was the first Chinese Medicine team to be incorporated under the Super Clinic. As a trusted allied health partner, HWD provided acupuncture to patients at the Super Clinic in Queanbeyan NSW.
· Dr Wang Haidong was elected to be an Executive Member of Chair Group and the President of Chinese Medicine International Brand Research Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine (WFCMS) in 2016.
· Dr Bing Tian, the Chief Practitioner of HWD Capital Chinese Medicine Civic Clinic was elected to be a board member of Chinese Medicine Board Australia (CMBA) in 2018.
· Au-Sino International Health and Aged Service Alliance was founded by HWD in 2019 to facilitate the quality of life in senior’s health.
· Dr Wang Haidong, the Chair of the Group was re-elected to be the President of Chinese Medicine International Brand Research Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine (WFCMS) in 2020.
